Prerequisite to Creating TSS Billing Statements
The following are the prerequisites to creating TSS Billing Statements:
Created ESC Billing Statements
Billed ESC Grantees are required prior to the creation of TSS Billing Statements This is to ensure that TSS Recipients are teaching ESC Grantees. The IMS-TSS shall not allow the deletion of ESC Billing Statements once a TSS Billing Statement is created.
Encoded TSS Recipients and Uploaded Documents
Encoding of teachers in the IMS-TSS does not guarantee that the teacher will be automatically included in the list of TSS Recipients for billing. The encoded teacher shall meet all characteristics listed below to be included by the IMS-TSS in the list of TSS Recipients for billing:
Licensed Teacher
Full time employed in the ESC Participating JHS
Teaching ESC Grantees
Teaching one (1) unit load or 180 teaching minutes per week regardless of subject.
Have complete documents uploaded in the IMS-TSS

Selecting TSS Recipients for Billing
In the IMS-TSS, click the "Create TSS Billing Statement" link to proceed to the list of TSS Recipients for billing. For each listed TSS Recipient, select the number of months of service the teacher has rendered in your school. The selected number of months of service shall be the basis for the IMS-TSS to compute the amount of subsidy each TSS Recipient shall receive.
